More of Hanukkah 2008

On the eighth night of Hanukkah, poor Zoe had a bad cold but she saw that there were lots of gifts so she did her best. Zachary enjoyed a new Thomas the Train station and some new trains and Zoe enjoyed new books and stuff animals. The kids had a good Hanukkah this year, and that means we did too!

Hanukkah (and Shabbat) in Westport, with Uncle Yossi, Aunt Brooke, and baby Nava. The kids lit their menorah's in the window and enjoyed some hugs too. We had trouble getting the exposure just right so you may have to squint a little, but these were too cute not to share.

Zachary really did light his menorah this year and enjoyed watching the candles burn, perhaps this year Hanukkah had a greater meaning ...

Lighting candles at home on the 5th night of Hanukkah, the kids humored us for more snapshots. After bedtime, being that it was Christmas and Daddy worked all day, we enjoyed a kosher chinese dinner from NY like many of our Jewish friends. Thanks to our friends who delivered the food.

Celebrating the 2nd night of Hanukkah in New Jersey with Grammy and Grandpa. We spent all afternoon there playing. Then we had yummy latkas and lit the menorah and of course got presents. Zachary and Daddy are checking out his new Leapster and Zoe and Mama are testing out her new pig/cow that talks (all the way home to CT). What fun we had.

Zachary and Zoe have to sing after we light our Menorahs in order to get their presents, our own little tradition so most nights they sang the old favorite, Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel. We hope you enjoy hearing it as much as we do!
