Purim 2007

Purim 2007 was quite fun for the Schulman Clan. Glenn enjoyed the Megillah reading at Shul Saturday night while Zachary and Zoe caught some zzzz so they would be ready for Sunday. We also baked some yummy hamentaschen that night. Sunday morning Zachary and Betsy went to a women's Megillah reading in the neighborhood. Zachary insisted on wearing his Alligator costume and enjoyed playing with the other kids while Mama listened upstairs. It was very nice. From there we met Glenn and Zoe at Shul for a Children's Purim Party. Zoe was decked out in her red hot chili pepper costume. She looked ADORABLE. Glenn heard the Megillah again and then we headed down to the party. There was a great turnout with lots of families as well as a clown. However, Zachary didn't want to stay, perhaps he is afraid of clowns like his dad. In any case we went home a little early for naps. The Purim Seudah (meal) was also in the neighborhood. And that was delicious. It was there we finished delivering our Purim treats (mishloach manot) and received some of our own. Everyone was very pooped by the end of the day, we are sure you can figure out why.
