Gymnastics Parent View end of Winter 2013

Zoe and Zachary had fun showing off their gymnastics during Parent Viewing Week at their gym.  They both have improved their skills so much since starting last year, we are very proud.  Zoe showed off on beam and on the bars while Zachary showed off his hard work on bars and rings.  Their tumbling was good too, but hard to capture still images.  Enjoy.

more Purim 2013

On Purim day the kids celebrated at our Community Purim Seudah (meal) at our shul.  The food was yummy and Mama was very happy since she had helped organize the event.  The DJ, as always, was great and had dance contests and the limbo.  Can you see Zachary and Zoe doing the limbo - eek they almost kissed that icky floor!  They sure had fun though.

Zoe was the most beautiful light up Fairy - she danced (even on a chair) and she had so much fun that when it was time to go home she cried.  She sure can party hard.  She also used her friends face paint - she did it herself.  It was a very fun Purim!

Purim 2013

 Purim 2013 - another great costume year - Zoe was a light up Fairy, Zachary was Harry Potter and Mama showed off her 8 months pregnant big belly as a cow!  Daddy wore his usual fun hat and added a special Purim bowtie.

Daddy and Zachary tinkering

We bought new phones for the house - so Daddy and Zachary took apart one of the old ones to see how it worked.  Pretty cool all those wires and buttons inside ... these Schulman boys likes to tinker.

Zoe's Daisy Ceremony 1-3-13

Zoe had a ceremony today at Daisy's where she got her Daisys pins and first Daisys petals which will now get ironed on her uniform.  She and the other girls were all very excited and so were all the parents.  Afterwards we got our Girl Scout Cookie order forms which is also VERY exciting.  Enjoy these pics of Zoe from the ceremony.

December wrap up

 We went to a concert sponsored by the kids school - with the Maccabeats and Eighth Day.  The head master of the school asked Mama to introduce someone at the concert, but it turned out he really wanted her to MC the event.  She was supposed to give an honor to outgoing Senator Joe Lieberman, but he was delayed by traffic and couldn't make it.  In any case, Daddy got a few pics of Mama at the microphone and we have one here on the blog.  The kids enjoyed the concert - especially Zoe who is now 'obsessed' with Ari from the Maccabeats.

On New Years Eve, Zoe wasn't so tired so she snuck out of bed and gave us this goofy pose.  We couldn't resist sharing it on the blog.  Note her PJs which are matching ones we got for cousin Peyton to wear so they could be twins!  Happy 2013!

end of Hanukkah 2012

 The 5th night of Hanukkah our front window is starting to really glow!  It was art night and the kids got some new art supplies, markers, paints, colored pencils, drawing pads, etc.  Fun and useful gifts!

 On the 6th night the kids got to open gifts from Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Brian and Mama and Daddy - it was an exciting night, especially because the next day the kids had NO SCHOOL!!!

 Zoe got a nail set and Zachary got a catapult and trebuchet.  They both loved their presents, thank you Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Brian!

The 6th night was also book night from Mama and Daddy and the books the received included Zoe's first dictionary and Zachary's 3rd Guiness Book of Records (the 2013 edition) and they were both excited.

 And, the 8th night of Hanukkah - didn't our window look great!

 Snap Circuits Light for Zachary and Zoe's very own microphone (even though she keeps calling it her  microscope).  Both kids also got gelt from Aunt Marcia, thank you so much!
