Zachary got his soccer trophy

Zachary got his soccer trophy, and he was very excited about it. However, we didn't have a good picture of him holding the trophy. Actually he was probably holding the trophy in this picture of him and Daddy, but Mama somehow cropped it out.
We are so proud of Zachary's perseverance at soccer this spring - he did really great both in terms of playing and also in terms of understanding the game. He played every game and got in there more and more each game. In his last game he even blocked a goal and made a goalie kick. Not bad for the kid who wasn't sure which way to go in his first couple of games.
funny faces he and his pal were making when we tried to get a picture of them with their trophies! It does say his name on it too, not bad

Zoe finished Pre-School

Here is Zoe and her classmates from the 4s group - they may be few in number but their personality makes up for it.
Zoe got a certificate from Lana, the director of her pre-school, and now she is ready for kindergarten.

Zoe's school celebrated the end of the year with an ice cream social. There was a DJ with music, hula hoops, and a bubble machine. Zoe had a blast (and Zachary did too).

Fenwick Island Trip 2011

We loaded up the minivan and left from Zachary's thursday afternoon Lego class - beach or bust, by way of kosher chinese food in New Rochelle, NY. We rolled into the house in Fenwick Island, DE, just shy of midnight and the kids slept in a bunkbed.
By friday everyone had arrived and Aunt Jen had gotten all the kids "matching" outfits for a group picture ... aren't they SO cute! Everyone cooperated for these pictures (and many more). We also did crafts together - making seashell picture frames, colored sand bottles, and beach memory jars. It was a great weekend and the kids had a blast.

Zachary and Zoe enjoyed the sand and the ocean!

When we went to Rehobeth Beach (because the kids wanted to see the boardwalk) we made sure to play games on the boardwalk and win prizes. We also rode some rides and ate ice cream.
We really love the beach and can't wait to go back again.
