Zachary's class had their seder. Here is a shot of Zachary and some his classmates using the placemats they made. They also made their own matzah which was pretty good actually and nothing like the real stuff.
Zoe was sleeping when we arrived for the seder, so in true Montessori fashion, I pulled out a mat and let her finish her snooze on the mat. The shoe fell off and obviously she didn't notice. She got up in time to watch some of the pesach show the kids did and of course for dessert.
In the class show, Zachary played Baby Moses, and sailed along the Nile river in a basket. He was a pretty cute Moses.
Zoe strikes a pose on the red couch, even though she knows she is not supposed to be standing up ... what does Mama always say, feet on the floor or sit on your tushy!
DAYENU!
Seder first night ... Zachary demonstrated all of the plagues this year, including sunglasses, which Zoe borrowed, to represent darkness.
This golf ball was hail. He is wearing the headband he made at school to be baby Moses. Underneath he has on his kipah bought for him by his Uncle Yossi when he was a newborn.
Hope everyone had a nice Pesach! We enjoyed our week and we did some really fun activities as a family since Daddy took a few days off and Zachary was off of school. Stay tuned for pictures of some of our fun.

Glenn's Birthday
Glenn had a good birthday at home. We had a yummy birthday dinner with our friends Adam, Mona and Aidan and then Zoe had to hit the sack. She needed her beauty sleep. Then we had cake ...
Zachary looks a little worried cause Mama told him that these were not regular candles so he wasn't sure what that was going to mean
ARGH those darn trick candles, or as we told Zachary, "funny candles."
